PixSpace or Google Drive for sharing event photos
A Google Drive folder is free and familiar: shared with Anyone with the link, guests open it without signing in, but they see every photo and look through the folders themselves. PixSpace shows each guest the photos they’re in, found with a selfie after they agree. Drive suits small events; PixSpace suits big ones.

When Google Drive is the better choice
- Sending every photo to the couple or a single client.
- A small event, where guests can find themselves in a few dozen photos.
- Keeping a backup of your originals.
When PixSpace is the better choice
- Hundreds of guests and thousands of photos.
- Guests who should see only the photos they’re in.
- Sharing at the venue with a printed QR code.
Using both
You can keep your originals in Drive and give guests a PixSpace gallery. PixSpace isn’t a backup: deleting an event deletes its photos.
Questions
What does PixSpace cost?
Each plan’s price, limits and features are on the pricing page. You pay once for the length you pick, and nothing renews on its own.
Are photos shared between events?
No. A selfie is compared with that one event’s photos, and photos and face data are never shared between events or between photographers.
